As always, the awards will be presented in two strategic categories: "Global Hero" and "Local Hero".
What is up for grabs at the Würzburg Startup Prize?
For the participating teams, the event offers a massive boost in visibility and business growth:
- An €10,000 media budget from the Main-Post for each winner to scale up their marketing campaigns.
- €1,000 in prize money each, sponsored by Gründen@Würzburg and the Wirtschaftsjunioren Würzburg, providing a direct financial injection for their businesses.

The voting power is split strictly down the middle: 50% of the votes come from a highly qualified expert jury, while the remaining 50% are cast by the live audience. Every audience vote carries the exact same weight as a jury vote.
